Elena Reygadas

The Mexican chef Elena Reygadas has built a cuisine deeply connected to the territory, biodiversity, and the richness of local ingredients. Her approach, which combines technique, sensitivity, and respect for the product, has made her one of the most influential figures in Latin American gastronomy. In 2023, she was named The World’s Best Female Chef by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, in recognition of her contribution to contemporary cuisine and her commitment to a more conscious and sustainable gastronomy.

She currently leads Rosetta in Mexico City, considered one of the leading references of contemporary Mexican cuisine. She also drives other gastronomic projects, including Panadería Rosetta, Lardo, and Bella Aurora, through which she continues to explore the relationship between tradition, creativity, and seasonal ingredients.
